So this happened…

via text on my way to Los Angeles this past weekend

Marissa: dude i just had the most bizarre sitch in the bathroom. i had an open safety pin in my mouth and then i inhaled and it was gone. i think i swallowed it. WTF it wasnt anywhere on the ground or stuck to me. Now i’m tweeking out!

Caitlin: are you on the plane? did you accidentally take an amb? if you swallowed it, you would have felt it!!!

Marissa: No i’m about to board. R U sure? I kind of think it went straight down! Im scared! It could puncture everything probably. if this is the way i go, i’m gonna be pissed.

Caitlin: when have you ever swallowed anything without gulping? its not possible. it can’t go straight down or you’d choke on it.

Marissa: I mean best case situation i shit it out but it would get lodged somewhere. Its open!

Caitlin: You would have felt it if you swallowed an open safety pin you goon!

Marissa: Its a small safety pin! Not the smallest ones but the next size up. i swear it feels like its in my chest. then y couldnt find it anywhere.

Caitlin: cuz its small! its more likely it went down the sink than your throat

Marissa: I was in the stall. I had pinned my shirt for work and was removing it and held it in my mouth. i didnt feel it drop out of my mouth. it felt more like it went in! well lets just hope i make it thru the flight to cedars sinai

Caitlin: theres no way you swallowed it without knowing it, its jut not possible. maybe it fell in the toilet or next stall

Marissa: its soooo thin! i think i did ugh

Caitlin: you would 100% would have felt it on your tongue and going down your throat even if its small. you feel it when you swallow a tiny piece of food so youd definitely feel metal!!
